Throughout the year, First United offers the opportunity for people interested in membership to learn more about the church, about our two denominations (Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Church of Christ), and how one’s gifts and talents intersect with the needs of the church and community.
The New Member Class is held on Sunday morning during the church school hour in October and February and just following church in June. It is open to all, whether or not you are currently considering membership. As a part of this discernment, one of our ministers would like to sit and talk with you before you begin the class to learn more about you and how we can walk together in the journey of faith.
