Youth
First United Church of Oak Park offers young adult education through two different youth groups, which are offered on Sunday evenings.
For middle school aged children, First United Junior High (FUJI) is offered. First United Senior High (FUSH) is offered for senior high aged children.
First United Junior High (FUJI)
First United Junior High (FUJI) is a vibrant group of junior high students that gather each Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Each Sunday, the group shares a meal together and engages in fun, fellowship and learning. A highlight is an annual retreat in the spring. The group welcomes members from the community.
First United Senior High (FUSH)
First United Senior High (FUSH) is an extraordinary community of high school students, united in their care of each other and the world. Then meet weekly on Sundays from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for dinner, fun, discussion, and community service. An annual highlight is the summer work camp, a mission and community-building experience far away or close to home. The group, which regularly attracts 40 young people a week, welcomes members from the community.

FUSH Work Camp
Bethesda, Ohio, June 6 - 14, 2010
Working with SOWER, a church-based organization that helps to revitalize homes for the rural poor living in the Appalachian region. We look forward to putting something we value as a community—reaching out to the poor and oppressed—into action. At the same time, we will be strengthening our own community by good work, fun times, and lots of memories. Cost is $400, but may be reduced due to our fundraising efforts. Scholarships are available. Work Camp is open to those who have finished 9th through 12th grades.
