God of all people,
You know my heart and mind even before I speak. Help me to see the possibility of you acting in my life through this pledge. May I find you in the programming, in the staff, in the worship, in the community, in the many mission projects, and in the church garden. I choose my pledge to be an expression of my desire to live into the abundance of my life. Be with me as I decide how to act on this sacred opportunity.

This year’s 2012 Stewardship Brochure will give you a vision of what your pledge contributions make possible every day at First United.
To make a pledge
Print the 2012 Pledge Form and mail it to the church or put it in the offering plate.
Send a confidential e-mail with your 2012 Pledge Estimate to Financial Manager, Julie O’Shea at financial@firstunitedoakpark.com.
Set up and manage your own on-line 2012 Pledge Contribution by selecting the Contribute Now button. Our financial manager will be notified of all transactions set up on-line.
Give Online
At anytime you can make an online contribution to First United Church. Both direct bank account withdrawals and credit/debit card transactions are accepted. You can make a one-time payment or set up recurring payments for your pledge. By using your e-mail address you can create a profile and manage these transactions from home. Online transactions are processed by Vanco Services for First United. After authorization Julie O’Shea, the church Financial Manager is notified by Vanco of your contribution. This is a great way to set up your Pledge online.

Place cash or checks in the offering plates at Sunday Worship. Make checks out to:

Contribute stocks or equities transferred to the name of the church.
Contribute IRA cash distributions made payable to First United Church and mail distribution check to the church.
Contribute appreciated property or items directly to the church and receive special tax treatments.
