Newcomers gatherings
First United’s Newcomers class is held three times a year, usually in October, February, and June. The class is open to all comers, whether you are currently considering membership or you are just exploring the possibility of becoming a member. Those interested in further exploration are invited to contact Lydia Mulkey, Associate Pastor for Education, for more information. Join us for conversations about our faith and ministries.
What do you want to know about First United?
As a part of this discernment, one of our ministers would like to sit and talk with you before you begin the Newcomers class to learn more about you and how we can walk together in the journey of faith. What does the church have to offer, and how does it relate to you? Maybe you’re new in town, or perhaps you haven’t been to church in a while. Maybe you’re planning a wedding, or a child — or an adult — needs to be baptized. We’re here to help you in the whole process.
