Weekly on Tuesday at 5:30 PM

optimizing

This fall First United will be offering a Grief Care group open to all who want/need to:
• process grief and loss in their lives
• want/need to understand grief and loss in new ways
• have a safe space to share thoughts, feelings, and needs related to grief and loss
• find ways to relate to and process grief and loss through their spirituality/faith
• receive and give support from and to others dealing with grief and loss

This gathering will be for anyone experiencing any of the many ways grief and loss may be present in our lives, including the death of a loved one, relationship grief and loss, grief over the state of our world, etc. Gatherings will be a combination of learning, sharing, and discussion.

The goal is for attendees to attend all eight sessions, but all are welcome even if you have to miss one or two. Please contact Pastor Michael (mjones@firstunitedoakpark.com / 708-386-5215) if you have any questions. Participants are welcome to come for the first session and then decide if they want to continue on. This group will be offered again if you are unable to attend in the fall but want to participate in the future.
