Get Involved

First United Church has fellowship groups for all ages.

Youth groups for junior and senior highs meet on Sunday nights for dinner, service projects, discussion, and fun. Fellowship groups for adults range from a group that shares a meal while watching a film in the church lounge to a group specifically for friends and families of LGBTQ folks to a group for those 60 and over.

Here are some of our fellowship groups:

  • Junior high youth group (FUJI)
  • Senior high youth group (FUSH)
  • Prime Time (60 and over)
  • Midpoint (for those not ready for prime time)
  • Dinner and a Movie
  • Family Camp
  • PFLAG
  • Women’s Retreat

In addition to these groups, the First United Fellowship Team coordinates and support existing programs that bring together church members of various age groups and with diverse interests, plans intergenerational fellowship opportunities for all church members, and serves as hosts for receptions after memorial services.

Mission & Outreach

Making a Global Impact: Serving, Partnering, and Advocating for Justice

First United has a long and rich tradition of involvement in the wider world, from joining local agencies helping our neighbors to taking trips around the world, studying and connecting with international partners. The church also holds occasional Friday night peace vigils and has been active in working against gun violence. Read more about our mission partners and our social justice opportunities here.
